First of all, shouts to Rob Watson of Guelph’s Speed River for his debut marathon effort. This guy knows how to lay it all on the line.

I find myself in that odd situation where it hurts to walk and jog, but it’s okay once I start running. Not too sure whether it’s the same as before, what I thought was a touch of bone strain, or damage to a tendon in the shin, perhaps at its attachment at the bone or muscle. Anyway, the steady state workout today felt comfortable! I could have continued quite happily, but it was pretty dark after 12km.

Yesterday: 0′-0km.

Today: 20km (of which 12km in 44:04, 2km splits – 7:19, 7:19, 7:28 (shoelace stop), 7:20, 7:22, 7:16)
