Avoiding bone strain

I took an extra day off yesterday — a sharp pain in the shins when bearing weight (both but more left than right) since the long run at the weekend suggested grade 1 tibial bone strain to me (not that I’m a doctor). Possibly a result of last week’s double dose of threshold sessions. Nothing too serious, but it was a good warning to heed — back to normal today.

Today: 87′ (20km, short False Creek loop (Burrard/1st) via Hollow Tree).
