Tomorrow I will have new muscles, but they won’t feel that way.

A great workout today, ending up spent, on my back (very unusual). I didn’t realize at the time that the recoveries were drifting, even as the interval times descended. The reason I say it was still a great workout is just because of the feeling of sprinting — it was actually enjoyable kicking the last 50-100 metres of each lap. However bad it seems to get, one more lap is always possible.

600m hard, 200m easy, 400m hard, 400m complete recovery jog.

2.00, 71, 71, 3.01,

1.56, 75, 70, 2.55,

1.58, 71, 69, 3.09,

1.55, 80, 68, 3.27,

1.54, 90, 69.

Yesterday: 10k.
Today: 8k.
